LSU Family Association General Fund

This fund supports all general memberships and initiatives of the LSU Family Association including programs, marketing and communication, support staff, sponsorships, etc.  The Family Association supports programs that directly benefit LSU students and families.  Programs such as Bengals Beyond the Bayou (for out-of-state students), the Holiday Shuttle, and the Tiger Transition Team (peer mentoring) have been supported by and improved upon through generous donations from LSU Family Association members. 

LSU Family Association Council Fund

This fund is used to support initiatives directly created by the LSU Family Association Council.  The LSU Family Association Council provides leadership of the organization, is the liaison between members and university staff, offers programming support, and participates in fundraising efforts to provide new initiatives for parents and families.

Student Life & Enrollment Emergency Support Fund

The Emergency Support Fund benefits students in need of support for emergency situations.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac, over 600 students and their families were directly impacted.  This fund would serve to help students in similar situations.  Most recently, this fund has helped several students who lost everything due to an apartment fire. Additional support for this newly established initiative is needed to assist other students affected by various emergency situations.

LSU Family Association Scholarship Fund

Since 2010, the LSU Family Association has awarded more than $62,000 in scholarships to students of Family Association members. The Family Association strives to increase the number of scholarships each year.  The Scholarship Fund alleviates financial burdens on students with a $1000 scholarship, which students can use towards tuition, books, food, etc.  Each year, the amount raised in this fund is directly associated with how many $1,000 scholarship are given.  You can contribute to the Family Association’s goal to increase the number of scholarships every year by supporting the LSU Family Association Scholarship Fund.
